Restoring Purpose and Rebuilding Lives.
ReCA uses coaching as a tool for transformation through and beyond incarceration to equip people to build lives of purpose, work, and belonging.
We envision a world where everyone touched by incarceration is empowered to build a purposeful, fulfilling life and a place in a community that has come to welcome, trust, and depend on them.
This is more than
re-entry: it’s true restoration.
ABOUT ReCA
For many, leaving the justice system is the first step. For others, it's the end of a difficult chapter - a relationship, a health crisis, a period of disconnection from their own potential. The real journey for everyone is what comes next: navigating a complex web of barriers to rebuild trust, stability, and a life that belongs to them.
At ReCA, we believe connection is the antidote to recidivism, and to any block from a person’s potential. We move beyond traditional case management through a peer-based coaching-based model that helps participants identify their strengths, set their own goals, and build the resilience they need to thrive.
PROGRAMS & SERVICES
What we do.
ReCA delivers coaching and skill-building for justice-impacted individuals and others navigating pivotal life transitions inside facilities and in the community. Our work focuses on cognitive transformation, personal leadership, stability, and successful reentry.
Our programs serve people at every stage of the journey: from those preparing for release, to veterans, women, and youth building new chapters in their lives.
-
Navigating the immediate logistics of release, including vital documents, housing referrals, and benefits.
-
Job readiness training, resume building, and connections to fair-chance employers.
-
Mentorship from those with lived experience who understand the journey of recovery and restoration.
-
Specialized programming for populations navigating their own version of re-entry, whether returning from service, rebuilding after hardship, or launching into adulthood with the right support in place.
Led by professional strategists and master coaches with lived experience.
TEAM
Our team is made up of dedicated coaches and leaders who bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the work.
We are committed to creating a supportive, structured environment where individuals are challenged to grow, build stability, and move forward with purpose.
Invest in what’s possible.
GIVING
Every dollar you give to ReCA funds a coach, not a case number. Your support funds peer-led coaching relationships, workforce development training, and programming that helps people move forward, not backward.
