What We Do
Supporting transformation.


ReCA is a peer-led life coaching organization delivering coaching and skill-building for justice-impacted individuals and groups, inside facilities and in the community.

Our work has two tiers: programs for individuals - focusing on a whole-person approach - and solutions for organizations (agencies, nonprofits, and employers) to build trauma-informed recovery and re-entry systems.

We partner with correctional facilities to provide group sessions and structured program cycles inside jails/prisons (based on facility approval and schedules). Topics may include: thinking patterns, emotional regulation, communication, accountability, goal setting, and reentry planning.

Prison-Based Programming

Single-session workshops delivered inside facilities or in the community through partners. Topics may include: mindset shifts, boundaries, conflict skills, reentry readiness, and job readiness.

Classes (One-Off Workshops)

Multi-session cohorts that build skills over time with practice, accountability, and planning. Topics may include: cognitive skills, habit-building, personal leadership, stability planning, and workforce success.

Courses (Longer-Term Programs)

Individual coaching to strengthen decision-making, clarify goals, and create realistic action plans. Available in approved facility settings and in the community (in-person or virtual, depending on guidelines).

1:1 Coaching

Facilitated peer circles and mentoring-style support that build pro-social connection, accountability, and leadership—guided by ReCA tools and standards.

Peer-to-Peer Support

Structured mentorship that connects participants with consistent support, encouragement, and accountability, helping clients stay focused on goals, stability, and next steps.

Mentorship

Workforce readiness and retention support to help participants prepare for employment and succeed long-term. Focus may include: job readiness, workplace communication, reliability, goal planning, and professional habits.

Workforce Development

Coach development for those who support ReCA programming, including onboarding, skills practice, co-facilitation, and feedback.


Our full certification pathway is currently in development.

Coach Training

Programs delivered with community partners. Focus may include: mentoring, workforce development, and cognitive-behavioral skill-building to support stability and retention.
